North American Trailer Continues Expansion of California Operations With Acquisition of S & G Truck Services, Sacramento

North American Trailer LLC, Salt Lake City, Utah, has announced the asset acquisition of S & G Truck Services, Inc., West Sacramento, California. This acquisition is effective December 31, 2011. In May, 2011, North American Trailer (NAT) acquired Quality Fleet Repair, Fontana, California.

Scott Garringer, president of S & G Truck Services, said, “We welcome North American Trailer to our vibrant & growing market. The company brings unique operational resources to our work in northern California, and this venture will be one with significant benefits to our customers and to our marketplace. The merger of our experience and expertise will add tremendous strength to our established service business. We expect this merger to greatly enhance our ability to service large fleets and expand into wreck and roll-over repair on a much larger scale.” Garringer has been in the transportation industry since 1976 and founded S & G in 1997. He will remain with the new company, directing the growth and expansion of its customer service operation as Operations Manager.

Dan Parquette, Branch Manager for NAT’s new Sacramento operation, said that “I am pleased to pilot this important location and to work with Scott in this new venture.
